Sync

Coming soon End-to-end encrypted sync for your pages. This version does not sync. There is no sign-up on this page, and nothing here is collected.

Nobody else can read them

Pages are encrypted on your device before they leave it. The server stores ciphertext. Omacus cannot read your pages. The company that hosts the server cannot read them either, and cannot get the keys. A share link is a different thing: that page travels inside the link, and only the people you give it to can open it.

Named vaults

A vault is a library of pages with its own name. Personal, Family, and Work can live side by side. A page in one vault is not mixed into another.

A recovery phrase

Twenty-four words restore every vault on a new device. Write them down and keep them somewhere safe. Anyone with the phrase can open the vaults. Omacus does not keep a copy, so a lost phrase cannot be reset.

Example words, so you can see the shape. Yours will be different. This page never asks for them.

Linked once

The first time a computer or phone joins a vault, it unlocks with the phrase. After that it stays unlocked. You do not type the phrase on every launch.

Offline, then caught up

A linked device keeps working with no connection. Edits wait on that device and sync when it is back online. The same page, open on two devices, keeps both copies of a conflict so neither one is thrown away.

History and restore

Each vault keeps earlier copies of a page. Restore brings one back. Delete still moves a page to Recently deleted first, the same as it does today.

Until sync ships, pages stay on the device: plain text on the desktop, and the browser's own storage for the web app. Privacy lists what this version sends, which is exchange rates and a version check.
